A specification may say 10, 20, 40, or more touch points.

More touch capacity can be useful, but schools should ask how many people will realistically use a wall-mounted display at the same time.

  1. Does writing feel natural?
  2. Does the pen respond without delay?
  3. Can the teacher write while another object is being moved?
  4. Does the display recognise a finger, pen, and palm correctly?
  5. Can students work together without accidental inputs?

A high touch-point number does not guarantee a good teaching experience.
